Patrick Barron (bishop) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Patrick Barron (bishop) Patrick Harold Falkiner Barron, also called Paddy,〔(Dear Grandchildren – Barrons et al. )〕 (13 November 1911 – 27 August 1991) was the fourth Bishop of George.〔(Wits historical papers )〕 Barron was educated at Leeds University〔“Who was Who” 1897-1990 London, A & C Black, 1991 ISBN 0-7136-3457-X〕 and (after studies at the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield) ordained in 1939.〔Crockford's Clerical Directory1940-41 Oxford, OUP,1941〕 He began his ordained ministry a curate at Our Most Holy Redeemer, Clerkenwell〔(Church website )〕 after which he was a chaplain to the South African Army during World War II. After the war he held incumbencies at Zeerust, Potchefstroom and Blyvooruitzicht. Later he was Archdeacon of Germiston, then Dean of Johannesburg.
